PractiEHR is designed mainly for students or professionals who already have a basic knowledge of medical coding, billing or revenue cycle.
We recommend having completed, or currently taking, training related to the area you want to practice.

- Or equivalent training
PractiEHR does not replace the foundational training you need to learn the coding systems from scratch.
Coding resources
Depending on the path and the activity, you may need to consult up-to-date references for:
- CPT®
- ICD-10-CM
- HCPCS Level II
- Official guidelines and other applicable resources
Always use the references matching the year or the activity indicated inside the platform.
Technical requirements
- A desktop computer or laptop.
- A stable internet connection.
- An up-to-date web browser.
- A screen resolution suitable for working with tables, charts and work queues.
We do not recommend using a mobile phone as your main device: PractiEHR simulates a working interface designed for computer screens.
