Why prepare with Codingforhealth?

  • Prepare for the exam of a recognized credential. The program is designed to prepare you for AAPC’s CPC exam, one of AAPC’s coding credentials.

  • Learn medical coding in Spanish, with the English terminology the exam uses. Studying in your own language lets you focus on what the exam measures: understanding the rules, interpreting clinical documentation, and defending the code you chose with the right guideline.

  • A structured method that runs to exam day. A week-by-week curriculum, intensive review, and academic support, so you reach the exam on a solid base.

  • Applied practice from the very first module. From coding fundamentals to PractiEHR practice on clinical documentation, every stage is designed to bring you closer to the level of reasoning the exam evaluates.

Frequently asked questions

What language is the program taught in?

Instruction, classes, and explanations are delivered in Spanish so every concept is easy to follow. At the same time, you work with the English terminology, code sets, and materials used on the CPC® exam and in the professional medical coding environment in the United States. That way you build the knowledge in your own language while getting familiar with the language you will use on the credential exam and on the job.

How long is the program?

Guided preparation runs for 12 weeks, following a progressive structure from the fundamentals through exam preparation. You also keep access to the program materials and resources for 6 months, so you can review content and keep practicing at your own pace.

How do I earn the CPC® credential?

The CPC® credential is awarded exclusively by AAPC. Passing the CPC® exam requires a minimum score of 70%. Candidates who pass the exam and still need to complete the experience requirement initially receive the CPC-A® (Apprentice) designation. Once AAPC’s requirements are met, the apprentice designation can be removed to reach full CPC® status.
