Frequently asked questions

When should I register?

All students must register before October 10. Enrollment may close sooner if the group fills up.

What language is the program taught in?

Instruction, classes, and explanations are delivered in Spanish so every concept is easy to follow. At the same time, you work with the English terminology, code sets, and materials used on the CPC® exam and in U.S. medical coding. That way you build the knowledge in your own language while getting familiar with the language you will use on the credential exam.

How long is the program?

Guided preparation runs for 12 weeks, following a progressive structure from the fundamentals through exam preparation. You also keep access to the program materials and resources for 6 months, so you can review content and keep practicing at your own pace.

What happens if I cannot attend a live class with the instructor?

If you cannot attend a live class, the content stays available to you. Every session is recorded, and you can watch it on the platform to review the topic at your own pace. You can also keep moving through the course material and bring your questions to the next live class or to the support channels available to you. The instructor-led format is built to give you structure, guidance, and flexibility while you prepare for the CPC® exam.

Does this program help remove the “A” from the CPC-A®?

On completing the program you may request documentation of 80 educational contact hours for submission to AAPC and, in the instructor-led format, the AAPC Practicum is included as well. Acceptance toward the CPC-A apprentice requirement is determined solely by AAPC under its current policies.
